Richard's parents were Henry Young and Eleanor Marshall. He married Pearl Idelia Rhodes in Kalgoolie in Western Australia in 1904 and enlisted March 1916. On his return Richard and Pearl settled at Woody Point where they ran the Post Office store opposite the Woody Point jetty.Death date15 August 1934
