Robert's parents were James Waugh and Annie Tinning. Robert was their only son, they had five daughters. He was living at Nundah and his occupation was a farmer when he enlisted on 10 December 1917 at Brisbane. His unit embarked from Sydney, NSW on board RMS Osterley on 8 May 1918. In 1925 Robert is listed on the electoral rolls as living in Murrumba and his occupation was a labourer. He enlisted in World War II and listed his wife Victoria (Alice Victoria) as his next of kin.Birth date17 August 1898Death date31 May 1991
