Edward Leitch, known as Ted, parents were John Leitch and Ellen Mary Draper. The Leitch's were a pioneering family of Albany Creek, who first arrived in Queensland in 1863. Ted went back to working at the farm at Albany Creek and in 1923 married May Johnston.
