An orchard of selected parent trees was maintained at Peachester to supply seed for a nursery that had been established in Duffield Road at Kallangur (opposite the Telstra Tower on the corner of Duffield and Brickworks Roads). The nursery grew the pine seedlings and also developed the flax plants that were trialled on Bribie Island.
