TitleGeorge Farrow, ca. 1908DescriptionGeorge Farrow was born on 2 August 1867 in Brisbane to parents George Farrow and Eliza Billcliff. His first marriage was to Rachael Strain on 10 January 1900. She died on 1 August 1901. This photograph is a cropped version of his wedding photograph for his second marriage on 6 May 1908 to Emily Catherine Page at St. Stephen's Cathedral, Brisbane. It was a double wedding. Emily's twin brother William Frederick Page married Elizabeth Ann Nugent the same day. Emily Catherine Page was the Laceys Creek schoolteacher for 10 years. She and her twin brother William Frederick Page were born on 26 December 1870 at Toolburra, Queensland, to parents Edmund Page and Catherine Mangan. Emily and her twin brother William selected adjoining land at Laceys Creek in 1897 and 1898.
