TitleAlbert Samuel Thorpe and his wife Martha Jane Thorpe (nee Pascall) and their familyDescriptionAlbert Samuel Thorpe and his wife Martha Jane Thorpe (nee Pascall) ran a dairy farm at Mt Pleasant. Albert Samuel Thorpe was born on 15 January 1859 at Eyres Flat, South Australia. He married Martha Jane Pascall in Adelaide on 29 June 1885. All of their eleven children were born at Kangarilla, South Australia. On 1 May 1911 three properties at Mt Pleasant were registered in the name of Arthur Samuel Thorpe. They were Portion 18 Parish of Pine containing an area of 79 acres 3 roods 29 perches, Portion 30V Parish of Pine containing an area of 60 acres and Portion 57V Parish of Pine containing an area of 99 acres 3 roods 21 perches. The properties were sold in 1925 to Norm and Agnes Clark. Albert and Martha moved to Ferny Grove.
