TitleBongaree Post Office, ca. 1970DescriptionThe Bongaree Post Office which opened after the completion of the Bribie Bridge in 1963. Tom Donovan was the postmaster. He always had an orchid or two in flower on the counter. This post office continued until 4 October 1983, with the opening of Bellara Post Office.
