TitleVehicles and equipment in a section of the motor pool, United States 1st Cavalry Division, Camp Strathpine, 1943DescriptionFrom July 1943 until February 1944, the Division's 15,000 American servicemen camped in an extensive area to the west of Strathpine, generically referred to as Camp Strathpine, which stretched from Kremzow Road, Warner, to the North Pine River at Youngs Crossing, then northeast across Dayboro Road into what is now Frenchs Forest estate in Petrie.
