25th Feb 2023 3:26PMCarey Lawson Carter and Margaret Cowen Carter nee Carrick appear to be the owners of this property. They lived for a while at 19 Margaret Street Redcliffe according to the AEC Roll in 1949 and 1954. It does not appear they ever lived in this house they were to build as Margaret passed away in 1959 and Carey appears to have moved away after that time. They did not have any children that I can find. I think the house is situated at 28 James Street, Scarborough. It has all the characteristics of the plan. The house would be situated on the north side of the street as per the plan. Carey was born in 1902 in Queensland and Margaret in the UK in 1893. They were married in Queensland in 1925.
