Building the wall
DETAILS
TitleBuilding the wallDescriptionThe idea for a memorial to commemorate the landing of the first white settlers in Queensland in September 1894 came from a proposal by long-term resident Marle Juster. He submitted a written proposal to the Redcliffe Community Liaison Committe in 1989, followed by architect-drawn plans for a Memorial Wall. A committee was formed, fundraising begun, plans and estimates drawn up, and the Wall was officially opened on 14th September 1991.ImprintRedcliffe, Queensland : [no producer identified], [1991].LanguageEnglishDate1990Collation17 unnumbered leaves : chiefly colour illustrations ; 26 cm.Bib. formatBooksNotesSpiral binding
