The History of Deception Bay was commissioned by the Caboolture Shire Council as part of the Deception Bay History Project. Its five components are: collating primary documents, recording oral histories, publishing a history of the Bay, creating a heritage trail, and undertaking preliminary archaeological investigations of historic sites.
