Alfred was the eldest son of Alfred Ernest James Jull and Mary Bateman, who lived at Woodford. He was single, working as a timber getter and living at Woodford, Queensland, at the time of his enlistment in January 1916. Alfred died of wounds received in action. He was wounded by shellfire on 31 March and died at the 13th Field Ambulance Station on the following day. Alfred's father [3316] had enlisted just prior to young Alfred being killed and a younger brother, George [4324], enlisted in 1916.Birth date21 July 1897Death date24 May 1918
