Buried: Unknown Arthur Arron was the son of Henry Samuel Bloom and Charlotte Abigail Pyke who were living at Wooloowin, Brisbane, Queensland. His father had died in 1914. When he enlisted, Arthur was single and working as a clerk in Woodford, Queensland. Arthur was severely wounded in action resulting in the amputation of his right foot and fingers. As a result of this he was returned to Australia in October 1917 and according to Electoral Rolls he lived with his mother for a short time. He married Elizabeth Rita Galland in Sydney, New South Wales in 1919 and remained there until his death.Birth date29 June 1884
