Arthur's parents were John Reese and Marion Bell. Ben, as he was called, married Helen Jane Underwood in 1913 and according to his reminiscences later in life, he and Helen lived at Woody Point prior to his enlistment in May 1916 and just after his return from war. He took on several jobs including driving a wagon on a freight run for Percy Frost and eventually bought his own business at Woody Point.Birth date04 December 1891Death date21 February 1957
