The Easlea family was a pioneering family from Laceys Creek. Harry and Martha left Tenterfield, New South Wales with their children in 1889 to work with his uncle Samuel Raynbird on his dairy farm at Laceys Creek. Harry and Martha bought land at Laceys Creek. Charles attended Laceys Creek School. He also appears on the electoral roll as a farmer in 1908 at Laceys Creek. Charles was killed in action, his brother Robert Easlea [2325] also enlisted and was killed in action at Belgium on 9 October 1917.Birth date27 August 1887Death date31 August 1918
