Charles Henri was the seventh son of Thomas Beanland and Lydia Emma Kinton Prevost who were early residents of Woodford, Queensland. As a child he attended Woodford State School, Queensland. At the time of his enlistment in September 1915, he was working as a timber loader. Charles was wounded near the Villers-Bretonneux-Warfusee Road during the attack on Hamel and died of his wounds.Birth date17 October 1895Death date04 July 1918
