Edward was the son of William Aspland & Rosina Amelia Deans. The Deans were a pioneer family in the district and as a child Edward attended Humpybong State School at Margate. He enlisted in September 1915. After his return in 1919 he lived in Nambour and married Violet Buchback in 1925.Birth date01 October 1894Death date10 January 1987
