Ernest's parents were Friedrich Wilhelm Hermann Feuerriegel and Anna Bertha Goeldner. Ernest was living at Bald Hills and working as a saddler when he enlisted on 14 October 1916 at Brisbane. Ernest fought in the battle of Polygon Woods and it was in this battle that Ernest was badly wounded. Ernest died of wounds 12 October 1917 aged 33.Birth date26 August 1884Death date12 October 1917
