Ernest enlisted at Brisbane on 28 March 1917. In the 1925 - 1927 electoral rolls Ernest is listed as living at Samsonvale and working as a labourer. He died aged 57. Ernest's two older brothers Frank William [175] and Walter Frederick [2312] enlisted as well. Walter Frederick died in July 1917.Birth date14 January 1893Death date04 March 1973
