Frederick's parents were James White and Angelina Elizabeth Smith (his mother died 1883) The White family was early pioneers of North Pine and ran a successful dairy farmer on Oak Farm bordered by the North Pine River. The property remained in the White family until bought by Australia Paper Manufacturers to establish the Petrie Carton Board Mill. Frederick enlisted 7 September 1915 at Rockhampton. Frederick and his brother, Albert, who was in the same Battalion embarked from Sydney on the R.M.S. 'Mooltan' on 9 April 1916. Frederick and his brother Albert were killed in action together on 10 June 1918. Frederick's four brothers enlisted as well, Walter [647], William [6638], John [7361] and half-brother Albert [4785].Birth date29 May 1881Death date10 June 1918
