Buried: Albany Creek Crematorium, Albany Creek, Queensland Frederick Eldred Peterson was the only son of Augustus Charles Peterson and Elizabeth Taylor (nee Jarvis). He was single, working as a labourer and living in Woodford at the time of his enlistment on 30 August 1915. His father had also enlisted. Their unit, 25th Battalion 8th Reinforcement, embarked from Brisbane on board HMAT Kyarra on 3 January 1916 and Frederick returned to Australia on 15 December 1919. Frederick returned to live in Woodford when he was discharged and married Winifred Sami in June 1927.Birth date20 June 1893Death date27 January 1971
