Frederick's parents were Alfred Richard Roberts and Margaret Annie Edith Sellin. Frederick's Grandfather Franz, selected land at Terrors Creek in 1874. Frederick enlisted 15 April 1915 at Brisbane. On 2 August 1916 Frederick was involved in the major battle at the Western Front in Pozieres. He married overseas in Dorset England to Kate Louisa Lake on 19 July 1917. He returned to Australia 1919. In the 1921 electoral rolls Frederick is living at Bowen Hills with his wife, Kate.Birth date02 August 1897Death date03 February 1968
