George Stewart was the son of George Dagg and Elizabeth Myles of Killarney, Queensland. He was single, working as a teamster and living at Mt Mee, Queensland, at the time of his enlistment in October 1916. His sister, Mrs Mary Harris of Kilcoy, Queensland, was listed as his next of kin. After the war he returned to Mt Mee for a short period then worked on a Soldier Settlement in the Inglewood area. In 1936 he married Lucy Hancock Parker and they lived at Cribb Island until Lucy died in 1942.Birth date01 October 1883Death date02 July 1956
