Harold Ernest was the son of George Angel James Vidler and Matilda Law who lived at Zillmere, Queensland. He was single and farming in Morayfield, Queensland, when he enlisted. Harold was taken Prisoner and interned in Zeyne Kiamil, Scutari, Turkey from the Hospital at Pzamatia after a gunshot wound to the right knee. Information was supplied by the Ottoman Red Crescent Society in October 1917. On his return to Australia and after being discharged in March 1919 he continued farming in Morayfield up to 1925 according to Electoral Rolls. He married Catherine Dynan in 1921 in Murwillumbah.Birth date27 June 1897Death date28 December 1985
