John Murray Cox was the son of John Henry Cox and Margaret Falconer Murray who came to live at Woody Point sometime during or just after the war. Australian Naval records for the First World War are not very informative so all we know about John Murray is that he was in the Navy. After the war he married Mrs Mavis Lillian Daniels and settled in Brisbane. No doubt he visited his parents and brother, Harold Dixon Cox (91 & 2018), at Woody Point from time to time.Birth date17 May 1893Death date12 July 1953
