John William Frederick Theodore was the son of Frank Theodore and Helene Catherine Eggeling. He married Gertrude Alice Walker on 18 August 1909 and they had a son in 1911. John was working as a cook and living in Caboolture, Queensland when he enlisted in 1915. After the war the family resided in Southport, Queensland. He also enlisted for World War II (Service No. Q303728).Birth date06 October 1885Death date24 February 1944
