Martin Coohey (born Martin Que) his parents were James Que (Ah Que) and Martha Gannon. Martin enlisted at Brisbane on 17 April 1916. He is listed on Terrors Creek Electoral Roll on 9 September 1911. Later records show him as a butcher and bookkeeper. He was employed by Cruice Bros. Butchers at Terrors Creek. He never married and had a close friendship with William Cruice
the Cruice family was well known pioneers who lived in the area. Martin died of wounds aged 30.Birth date02 February 1887Death date20 October 1917
