Matthew Nugent, aged 27 years when he enlisted, son of Margaret. Matthew was stationed at several police stations in Queensland. He was a constable at Sandgate in the 1912 electoral rolls and listed in 1913 as a constable at Fortitude Valley. Matthew served in the 49th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement with William Arthur Thistlethwaite [1987] and Claverhouse Young [2003] who were farmers from Samsonvale.Birth date00-01-1900Death date14 July 1963
