Maurice Alexander was the son of James Bishop and Mary Ann Lancaster. His father resided at Toorbul, Queensland. He was 23 years and working as a horse breaker when he enlisted on 28 April 1916. He only served 17 days and did not go overseas. He married Sarah Jane Berg on 16 July 1924. Electoral Rolls show they were living at Toorbul until circa 1925 then moved to Dalby, Queensland.Birth date16 October 1892Death date24 October 1973
