Arthur John Montgomery known as Monty, was the fourth son of William Bleakley and Bertha Carseldine who lived at D'Aguilar, Queensland. When he enlisted in July 1915 he was single and working as a labourer. Arthur died of wounds received in action at Pozieres at 1st Australian Field Ambulance.
