Buried: Toowong Cemetery, 10 July 1922 Ormond's parents were Anselm Oxenham, Post and Telegraph Master at Redcliffe, 1889-1899 and Ellen O'Keefe. Ormond attended Humpybong State School and married local girl, Margaret Jocumsen in 1909. Ormond also worked in the postal service. Unable to locate any war service records however given the early age of his death, it's possible that Ormond tried to enlist and was rejected on medical grounds. This might explain the inclusion of his name on both Redcliffe honour boards.
