Ralph was the son of Arthur and Edith Copeland who lived at Nundah, Brisbane. He was single, working as a dairy farmer and was living in Caboolture, Queensland, at the time of his enlistment in December 1915. After the war he lived in Petrie and working as a fruitgrower. Ralph married Blanche Wentworth Goodall in April 1924 and the couple resided in Albion where he worked as a grocer.Death date18 December 1981
