Charles Mitchell Dixon was single and 23 years of age when he enlisted in July 1915. His occupation was listed as seaman and initially his next of kin Mr G E Brown, Brown's Creek, Narangba but this was later changed to Miss Eileen Francis of Taringa, Queensland.
