Robert Easlea aged 33 when he enlisted son of Harry Easlea and Martha Johnson. The Easlea family was a pioneering family from Laceys Creek. Harry and Martha left Tenterfield, New South Wales with their children in 1889 to work with his uncle Samuel Raynbird on his dairy farm at Laceys Creek. Harry and Martha bought land at Laceys Creek. Robert appears on the electoral roll in May 1905 as a labourer at Laceys Creek. Robert enlisted at Newcastle (N.S.W.) on 5 September 1915. He married Blanch Brown in New South Wales in 1915, they had no children. Robert was killed in action. His brother Charles [3291] also enlisted and was killed in action on 31 August 1918.Birth date25 October 1881Death date09 October 1917
