Robert Wordie was the son of Robert Frain Adamson and Margaret Marshall Wordie. He was aged 42 years, single and farming at Mt Mee when he enlisted in 1918. Robert's father had died in 1914 and he became the sole supporter of his mother. He had previously served 5 years with the Citizens' Militia that grew out of the Queensland Mounted Infantry. Robert was for a time a Captain of the Mount Mee Rifle Club. After the war, he returned to the family farm Bootrowa Mt Mee.Birth date29 December 1875Death date30 May 1931
