Ronald Edward MacArthur was the eldest son of Edward Hannibal MacArthur and Mary Frederica Wildash who lived at Corinda, Queensland. He was single and working as a farmer at Mt Mee, Queensland, when he enlisted in September 1915. Ronald died of wounds to his head caused by shrapnel. Ronald was a descendant of Phillip Gidley King, the third Governor of New South Wales.Birth date02 September 1895Death date11 August 1916
