Crichton Ivie Gordon also known as Ivie Crichton, son of Scottish settlers Andrew and Jessie Maria Hay of North Pine. The family owned a large property called Auchenpine on the banks of the North Pine River, near what is now known as Young's Crossing. Crichton was seriously wounded in action and died 16 April 1918.
