Samuel was living at Joondaryan when he enlisted on 6 March 1916 and was a Schoolteacher. After the war Samuel lived with his mother at Strathpine and continued teaching. Samuel married Janet Mary Gladys Rogers at Brisbane in 1932. Samuel died aged 65.Birth date18 December 1885Death date06 June 1950
