Sidney Walter Colin was the first son of Sidney George Blake and Eliza Matilda Britten who farmed at D'Aguilar, Queensland during the early 1900's. He was single, working as a labourer and living in D'Aguilar when he enlisted in March 1916. Sidney died from gas poisoning at 5th Ambulance Field Ambulance and was buried the same day.
