Buried: Unknown Stanley Herbert Moore was the son of Charles Moore and Ada Underwood who lived at Kilcoy, Queensland. He was single, working as a miner and living in Woodford, Queensland, when he enlisted in January 1916. Before returning to Australia he married Evelyn Emma Day on 4 May 1919 in Brentford, Middlesex, England. Two of Stanley's brothers who were from Kilcoy, Cedric Charles and Alexander Leslie, also enlisted. Cedric also married while overseas, however, Alexander was to die from wounds in a Prisoner of War Camp in Germany.Birth date13 September 1891Death date07 November 1969
