Victor's parents were John Rowe Kennett and Amy Norman and at the time of his enlistment Victor's family was living at Lowood, Qld. Victor was single and his occupation was a Dairyman. He joined the 2nd Light Horse Regiment and was taken prisoner by the Turks at Suez Canal on 4 August 1916. Victor died of Tuberculosis in the prisoner of war camp at Ismidt and he was buried in the Catholic cemetery there. After the war his remains were re-interred in the Haidar Pasher Cemetery, Constantinople. Victor's sister Ethel lived at Bay View House Woody Point.Birth date17 May 1895Death date09 February 1917
