Walter was the son of James Frederick Dellit and Fredericka Charlotte Kropp of Bracalba Station, Woodford, Queensland. He was single, farming and living with his parents at the time of his enlistment in September 1916. His older brother, Frederick [3495] also enlisted. Walter married Alice Ellen Shea in 1920 and was a storekeeper at Wamuran before moving to Holland Park around 1943.Birth date28 May 1899Death date08 July 1980
