Walter's parents were Thomas Scott and Sarah Ann Denby. Walter enlisted 30 October 1915 at Brisbane, his occupation was a horse breaker. He was seriously injured during the war losing a leg, he returned to Australia November 1917. After World War I, Walter Henry Scott became a well-known identity in the Strathpine area where he worked for many years as an employee of the Normanby Rum Distillery.Birth date03 June 1882Death date10 July 1948
