Wilfred's parents were William Charles Joyner and Louisa Fuller. Joyner family was early pioneers of the district, Wilfred's grandfather
William Joyner in 1845 leased all land on the south side of the North Pine River. He named the station Samson Vale. Wilfred's father was elected in March 1880 to the first Caboolture Divisional Board. Wilfred was working as a Forest Ranger when he enlisted in July 1915, he was the fourth of nine children. He married Maud Veronica King at Brisbane in 1925. Two of Wilfred's brothers enlisted, Allan [64363] and Ernest [350] who was killed.Birth date22 January 1886Death date26 July 1966
