Frederick John Elliott was born in Berkshire England about 1889. His parents were Frederic Elliott and Emma Elizabeth Elliott. He emigrated to Australia about 1912 and was living at Woody Point when he enlisted in October 1915. Returning to Woody Point after the war, Frederick married Maggie Dewar Anderson, widow of Peter Anderson, in 1924.
