TitleEnosh Rudd and his wife Isabella Rudd (nee MacDonald)DescriptionEnosh Rudd was born in 1870 at Dilwyn, Herefordshire, England, to parents Andrew Rudd and Eliza Rickards. He married Isabella MacDonald on 17 November 1898 in Queensland. He was a private with the 3rd Queensland Mounted Infantry during the Boer War. On 1 June 1907 property at Mt Pleasant, being Portion 34 Parish of Pine, containing an area of 160 acres, was registered in his name although their daughter Ruth was enrolled at Mt Pleasant School on 26 March 1906 so they must have been living there prior to the property being registered in his name. His father came with him and lived there until his death in 1913. Isabella Rudd (nee MacDonald), and her children came to the farm several weeks later after selling the family home at Wooloowin, Brisbane.
