CouncilSummaryThe building of the new jetty at Woody Point offered the opportunity to produce a history of the Woody Point jetty. While the jetty is the main focus of the book, no history of the Woody Point jetty would be complete without mention of the Humpybong Regatta, sometimes known as the Bramble Bay Regatta. Also included are the buildings along the foreshore near the jetty - the former bathing pavilion, TS Moreton Bay and the Humpybong Yacht Club. The Woody Point Memorial School of Arts Hall and the Eildon Croquet Club, also on Council land, have been included as have the two hotels, the Belvedere and the Palace, focal points of the Woody Point landscape.
