TitleDescendants of James and Mary McCullaghDescriptionThe photograph is of 150 descendants of James and Mary McCullagh who left Ireland in 1864 and arrived at North Pine to take up employment for Tom Petrie. Five years later they applied for a homestead block of land on Browns Creek and that was the start of their establishment. The centenary celebrations of the McCullagh freeholding of the Browns Creek Narangba land were held at the homestead of Morrie Duncombe of Duncombe Road which was part of the original settlement.
