TitleMr Ernest Frederick (Ernst Friedrich) and Mrs Rebecca Goeldner and family in 1900DescriptionMr Goeldner arrived in Australia from Germany at the age of 1 year with his parents and brothers and sisters where they settled at a German Station now called Nundah in 1852. Early in the 1880s he selected land at Upper Caboolture (now known as Rocksberg) where he worked and cleared the land and on 13 November 1882 he married Rebecca Sutton at Upper Caboolture. The Suttons were early settlers and lived not far from where the Upper Caboolture Church now stands. Mr Sutton took his turn of taking the church service. The baby in this photo is Elizabeth Goeldner and in 1979 was the only surviving member of the family now Mrs J. Ferguson of Caboolture.
