TitleHall's Jetty in the 1970sDescriptionThis was used by the Army to bring in supplies and equipment when the igloos and watch towers on Bishop's Property were operational during World War 2 (WWII). Also two supply boats used to call in as part of the Brisbane - Caloundra run. A boat went through the jetty in the 1961 (New Year's Eve) cyclone and after that it was no longer operational. In the mid 1960s Audrey and John Hall had 23 hire boats (pictured) and often that wasn't enough!
